‘Floating’ aptly titled, was Inspired by the serene beaches and inlets of Sydney's southern coast, I approached the canvas with a charcoal under drawing, shaded with graphite acrylic paint for seamless transitions. Layer by layer, I infuse depth and harmony with washes of my base colors, creating a pastel-like texture that brings the composition to life. 'Floating' gently draws you in and takes you away to paradise, or as the locals refer to it, ‘god’s country’.

This painting is currently at Northern Beaches Gallery as part of the “Head Above Water” Exhibition to raise funds for sucide support.
