Essence of Air no. 7 is painted on Canvas using Acrylic. It is not framed nor is it stretched which is perfect for shipping. Essence of Air Series is a study in land and seascapes using a limited Palette of Acrylic. The paintings in this series were intentionally painted small gradually increasing in size with the smallest being 15cm x 15cm largest size being 75cm x 75cm.

Creating the Essence of Air Series was and is a celebration of overcoming my personal fears and celebrating my personal and mental growth and freedom. Since 2017, I have been through many stages of grief and acceptance with health and hardships. While painting Essence of Air, each painting was a mental measured breath, an inhale, and a slow exhale. Deliberate. Designed to calm the mind and focus on what matters. When our lives are so busy, our worries seem to take over every part of our being. The Essence of Air is not only a landscape or seascape, but a scape of the mind and soul. A mindfulness of breathing, relaxing, resting our thoughts, escaping into the process and the beauty of life. A reminder to breathe and enjoy every little moment we have.
